After Great DJ, I wasn’t sure whether or not I would like their next single. I liked the first one but I thought it was difficult to think of good things to say about it.

That’s Not My Name is catchy and upbeat… The sort of song that you can easily find yourself tapping your foot to. It has a slow beginning that begins to pick up as soon as the chorus begins.

I like Katie White’s voice, it’s different but at the same time you could compare her to other female artists. She has an independent tone which is what i like about Great DJ. Jules De Martino, the male vocalist, to me doesn’t seem to contribute that much on the lyrics side of things, although I would probably notice the difference if he was taken out of the song.

I’m not sure what genre this band slides into, could be electric pop but maybe slightly indie? Let me know…
