News broke this week that The Rascals were disbanding following Miles Kane’s decision to leave the band. I saw the Rascals not just as a great and very talented band but as genuinely nice people who always had time to chat to their fans. Miles is to continue working on side-projects and Greg (drums) and Joe (bass) are doing the same it is thought.
Their debut album “Rascalize” was largely overlooked but the influence it appears to have had over the Arctic Monkeys new sound is clear. These are my four favourite Rascals/Little Flames tracks.
