Sam Duckworth aka Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly is one of my all time favourite artists dismissed by some as ‘emo’ he often falls off the radar along with other great artists who deserve more attention like Bat For Lashes and Lightspeed Champion.
They are the songwriters who write amazing songs about our modern life and do so with adoration of their fans but little recognition elsewhere.
GCWCF has posted a few demo’s on his myspace that may or may not end up on the next album (possibly called Together There Is Hope). Sam says “I’ve put a few tunes I’ve been working on up on the myspace… I don’t want to sit on tunes for months and they never see the light of day.”
