Like many others, I have been eagerly awaiting new YYY’s material for a very long time now and Zero will not disappoint. Although aiming for a new direction, there are still elements of the YYY’s sound that we love present in Zero. Still the rusted guitars, choppy beats, Karen O’s distinctive vocals, still the typical YYY’s messy sound. However, there seems to now be a kind of electro pop synth on top of all of this to create something quite catchy- enough to leave you excited about the new album, ‘It’s Blitz!‘, which will on April 13th.
