facebook group: Bring on ZOO THOUSAND 09
Tweet this!Facebook is home to some bizarre groups. The Roy Stride Appreciation group is the most obvious. But there is one group that has really annoyed me today. If you don’t know anything about the Zoo Thousand Music Festival, there’s some background here.
So the whole thing was a shambles. Born from it is this group “Bring On Zoo Thousand 09″. It’s tag line is:
“Those of you criticising zoo8 could not even organise a back garden BBQ, let alone a Festival!“
The problem is, the zoo8 organisers probably can’t organise a BBQ either. Personally, I think they don’t deserve even the chance of organising anything next year.
Kent will manage just fine without Zoo9. Lounge On The Farm was a huge success, as was Vince Powers Mighty Boosh Festival/ Hop Farm Festival. I have it on good authority that there will be a three day festival at the Hop Farm next year so I know where my money will go.

In no ways doing this as one of those spam posts but genuinely thought you may be interested to know we are just opening our (Lounge On The) Farmhouse in Canterbury – a new space dedicated to nice drinks, great food and of course – some solid music – both live and recorded…
